Description

The Grand Seiko Evolution 9 SLGH035 draws inspiration from the Genbi Gorge in Iwate Prefecture, near the Grand Seiko Studio Shizukuishi. Its textured light blue dial evokes the refreshing appearance of the Iwai River flowing through the gorge in early summer. The distinctive embossed pattern recalls the powerful rock formations sculpted by the water over time.

The 40 mm case and bracelet are crafted from Ever-Brilliant Steel, an alloy distinguished by its bright white appearance and excellent resistance to corrosion. The watch is powered by the 9SA5 Hi-Beat self-winding mechanical calibre. Its innovative Dual Impulse Escapement and twin-barrel construction combine a high frequency of 36,000 vibrations per hour with an approximately 80-hour power reserve.
