Description

The Grand Seiko Evolution 9 SLGH033 draws inspiration from the white birch forests surrounding the Grand Seiko Studio Shizukuishi in Iwate Prefecture. Its richly textured green dial evokes summer light filtering through the slender white trunks of the birch trees. The distinctive pattern creates remarkable depth while preserving the exceptional legibility central to the Evolution 9 design philosophy.

The 40 mm case and integrated bracelet are crafted from Ever-Brilliant Steel, a special alloy distinguished by its bright white appearance and exceptional resistance to corrosion. The watch is powered by the 9SA5 Hi-Beat self-winding mechanical calibre. Its innovative Dual Impulse Escapement and twin-barrel construction enable it to combine a high frequency of 36,000 vibrations per hour with an approximately 80-hour power reserve.
