After the spring equinox, or Shunbun, one of the twenty-four Sekki in Japan, comes the cherry blossom season, an event celebrated by many Japanese. Carried by the wind, the petals cover the surface of nearby rivers, coloring them a subtly refined pink.
The watch is powered by the 9R31 Spring Drive caliber, with a double-sprung barrel offering a 72-hour power reserve when fully wound. Its fine finishing is visible through the caseback, as is the power-reserve indicator.
