Description

The Glashütte Original Senator Meissen “Cherry Blossom” brings together Saxon fine watchmaking and the traditional art of porcelain in an exceptionally delicate creation. Its 40 mm red gold case frames a MEISSEN porcelain dial hand-painted with a blossoming cherry branch. Measuring just 0.8 mm thick, the porcelain dial is decorated layer by layer by experienced porcelain painters and fired several times at 900 °C to achieve the distinctive depth and nuances of the floral motif.

Each timepiece is entirely assembled and regulated by a single watchmaker in the Glashütte Original atelier. The self-winding Manufacture calibre 36-16 delivers a 100-hour power reserve and incorporates a silicon balance spring resistant to magnetic fields and temperature fluctuations. A dark blue Louisiana alligator leather strap with a red gold clasp completes this exceptional creation.
